Abubakar Momoh holds a Ph.D. in Political Theory. He is currently a Senior Lecturer at Lagos State University. He writes on issues of Pan-Africanism, social movements, democracy and youth. He co-edited "The National Question in Nigeria" (Ashgate, 2002). He has been a Visiting scholar and researcher to many institutions including the University of Helsinki, Finland; the University of Cape Town, South Africa; the Nordic Africa Institute, Uppsala, Sweden; and the University of California, Los Angeles.
