Geeva has a strong Military background as a serving officer in the South African Navy. In this capacity, she was an Integration Consultant on the team that participated in the integration of the Forces Armees de la Republique Democratique du Congo (FARDC) in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Geeva is a qualified Military Observer and Peace Staff Officer and has participated in Peacekeeping and Peace building operations, utilizing her experience as a trained Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration expert. Geeva holds a BA in Social Sciences (University of Durban Westville, South Africa).
